This 70-year-old hunting lodge of the erstwhile rulers
of Jaipur, is set amidst 12 acres of lush gardens. The lodge is a 20-minute
drive from the Ranthambore National Park, which is famous for its tiger population.
Maharaja Sawai Man Singh-II built the Sawai-Madhopur Lodge for his personal
use on hunting trips to the forest, which was the favorite pastime of the royal
family of Jaipur. In fact the entire town of Sawai Madhopur is world renowned
for the famous and historical Ranthambhore National Park.
Accommodation
The Sawai Madhopur Lodge has 17 Standard Rooms, 10 Superior Room, 2 Suites and
6 Tents available. The room facilities includes running hot and cold water,
an attached bath and a telephone in the room.
